Wes Turiano, Partner
Wes Turiano is a Partner of CW Mineral Group and is based in Tulsa, OK. Previously, Wes served as the Senior Executive Vice President and Director of Oil & Gas Management for the nation’s largest oil & gas management firm.
Wes is a frequent speaker at ABA Trust & Wealth events, SIFMA (Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association), NTREA (National Trust Real Estate Association), and regularly provides advice and contributions pertaining to oil & gas to several other national organizations. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal on the topic of how financial institutions can create additional streams of revenue relating to specialty assets.
Wes graduated from the University of Richmond in 2002 where he received a double major in Economics and Political Science and was also a member of the University of Richmond Men’s Golf Team. Wes is very proud of his membership in the Pennsylvania Society (one of the nation’s largest non-profit charitable organizations).
Chay Jackson, Partner
Chay Jackson is a Partner of CW Mineral Group and is based out of Fort Worth, Texas. Chay has over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Chay is a life-long Texan and has a long background in managing client mineral interests, including those owned by individuals, non-profits, universities, and financial institutions.
Prior to joining CW, Chay founded and operated Refined Mineral Management. Refined Mineral Management was a career long goal for Chay seeking to provide unmatched service and transparency in the mineral management process. Previous to Refined, Chay served as Vice President of the largest oil & gas management firm in the country. As Vice President, Chay was the Area Manager of the Texas office, responsible for leasing across the entire client portfolio. In addition, Chay served on the Board of Directors, the Long-Range Planning Committee, and was chair of the Individual Development Program.
Chay is a RPL (Registered Professional Landman) through AAPL (American Association of Professional Landmen) and is also a member of FWAPL (Fort Worth Association of Professional Landmen).
Chay is very proud of his charitable interests, hosting a yearly Christmas toy drive that celebrated its 18th anniversary in 2023. To date, the drive has raised over 20,000 toys and over $320,000 in cash donations to support underprivileged children around the Christmas holiday. Additionally Chay is the President and on the board of GivTex Charities, a 501c3 focused on helping Texas children in need. Chay also has volunteered on the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Greeting Committee since 2017.
